Building Design

Fire models are used for a variety of reasons, including pre-construction, validating design or support of novel ideas or components of construction. Our lead Fire Protection Engineer has over 20 years’ experience to provide the engineering analysis required and can per California Building Code and Fire Code provide “Alternate materials, designs, tests and methods of construction” often providing significant cost savings.

Smoke Control Design

Smoke control design supports the fire life safety of structures preserving life and property. These include but not limited to egress, atrium, stairwell, floors of or entire buildings to ensure smoke to exhausted through the proper channels.

Performance-Based Design

Performance-based fire design is utilized for all safety systems required in buildings. Fire alarm, fire sprinklers, ERRCS, just to name a few are governed by the performance of those designs. Our experienced Team will ensure the design is efficient and effective.

Structural Fire Engineering

Structural fire engineering ensures that a single structural element does not impact the overall integrity of the building under fire stress. We look at unique aspects of buildings to determine if and what fire proofing applications are required or not saving time and money.
